Ajwath Asim

Ajwath Asim has held multiple positions in the finance and accounting industry since 2004. Ajwath began their career as an Audit Trainee at RHL Financial & Management Service (Pvt) Ltd in 2004. In 2005, they moved to Wheels Lanka Trading Pvt Ltd as an Accountant. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as Manager- Accounts at Haji Hassan Group BSC(c), Bahrain. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as Financial Controller at Alliance Group Bahrain, Arabian Sugar. During this time, they were responsible for setting up financial strategies, financial planning, analyzing risk factors, and preparing projected cash flows, P&L, and balance sheets. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as Group Financial Controller at PayTabs. During this time, they performed market research, responded to investor due diligence questionnaires, and participated in investor interest meetings. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as Head of Finance at BCAS Campus. During this time, they were responsible for setting up financial policies and procedures, monthly budget reviews, and reporting high risk areas. Finally, they are currently working as Financial Director (Acting CFO) at CWALLET and as Finance Manager at Greenhydrogen Startup.

Ajwath Asim has a CPA from CPA Australia Program, obtained in 2017. Ajwath also has a Chartered Management Accountant certification from CIMA. Asim is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Solent University, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Ajwath has also taken courses from CPA Australia Program, but has not completed any degree or certification programs from there.
