Dawn Lewis-Whelan (FCIPD) currently serves as the Head of People for Unscheduled Care and Facilities and Head of Workforce and OD at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board since October 2021. Prior to this, Dawn was an HR/OD Consultant at Aberystwyth University and an HR Consultant at Cardiff Airport, where contributions included partnering with executive leadership to enhance organizational culture and employee engagement. As the Director of HR at Ty Hafan, Dawn collaborated with senior management to fulfill the charity's mission in palliative care. Previous experiences include serving as HR Business Partner and Executive Board Member at Sony - UK Technology Centre, where strategic HR initiatives were implemented to drive organizational change. Dawn also contributed as a Governor at Bridgend College, providing HR expertise. Educational credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma in HRM from the University of South Wales.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of the NHS Wales family. Our Health Board provides primary, secondary and community health and wellbeing services to around 450,000 people living in three County Boroughs: Bridgend Merthyr Tydfil, and Rhondda Cynon Taf.
