Samantha Britton (MCIPD) is an experienced HR professional with a robust background in workforce and organizational development across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of People for Planned Care, Diagnostics, Therapies, and Sciences Care Groups at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board since November 2020, Samantha has held several significant HR leadership roles, including Deputy Head of Workforce and OD and interim positions in workforce management. Prior experience includes roles as Senior HR Business Partner and UK Talent Development Lead at Safran, leading talent development initiatives, and Senior HR Business Partner at phs Group and KPMG UK, where Samantha managed people agendas and drove business growth strategies. Former positions also involve leading HR teams at Cardiff University and Eversheds, where Samantha focused on developing and implementing people strategies. Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of the NHS Wales family. Our Health Board provides primary, secondary and community health and wellbeing services to around 450,000 people living in three County Boroughs: Bridgend Merthyr Tydfil, and Rhondda Cynon Taf.
