Ana Rita Sousa

Ana Rita Sousa is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in team leadership and project management. Currently serving as Senior Data Scientist and Data Science Team Lead at Piano since March 2020, Ana Rita manages teams, coordinates projects, and oversees the research and development of data science initiatives. As Data Scientist Lead at Cxense, Ana Rita focuses on developing custom machine learning projects and building the BYODS team to support client-specific needs. Previous roles include Project Engineer for Cyberbase Systems at National Oilwell Varco, Business Intelligence Analyst at TAP Portugal, and various analytical positions at EDP and Banco BPI. Ana Rita holds a Master's degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Lisbon.
