Faisal Shaikh

Faisal Shaikh has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Faisal is currently employed at Cybalt as a Security Engineer since August 2022. Prior to this, Faisal worked at Mindtree as a Malware Researcher from July 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Mindtree, Faisal served as a Security Analyst at AGC Networks Ltd. from January 2017 to July 2019. In this role, they handled the complete incident management framework cycle, including incident identification, containment, root cause analysis, and implementing preventive controls. Faisal also proactively collected intelligence from external cyber security portals and implemented defensive measures against various threat actors. Faisal was responsible for developing complex use-cases, reports, and alarms according to the requirements.

Faisal Shaikh holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Digital Forensics and Cyber Analysis from George Mason University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. In addition to their formal education, Faisal has also obtained certifications in Autopsy Basics and Hands On from Basis Technology, CCNA from Cisco, CEH from EC-Council, and McAfee Certified Product Specialist - SIEM from McAfee.
