Afshan Sheikh

Afshan Sheikh is an experienced professional in cyber security, currently serving as the Cyber Practice Director at Cyber Chain Alliance since December 2022. Previously, Afshan held the position of interim Cyber Practice Director at Capita, where responsibilities included strategy development for client growth and P&L accountability. Afshan’s career at Capita Business Services spanned over a decade, primarily as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant (Practice Deputy), focused on enhancing service portfolios and identifying market growth opportunities. Earlier roles included Head of GRC Practice and Senior Cyber Consultant at Lifestyle Services Group Limited, as well as Information Security Compliance roles. Afshan began in the industry as a Compliance & Governance Graduate at Caudwell Group. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Human Rights Law from Birmingham City University and an LLB in Law from the University of Staffordshire.
