Dr. Gina Nelson

Dr. Gina Nelson, DBA, MBA, currently serves as the HR Business Partner at Cyber Florida: The Florida Center for Cybersecurity since November 2022, where initiatives focus on cybersecurity education, research, and outreach. Previously, Dr. Nelson held the role of Human Resources Director at American Youth Academy from May 2021 to November 2022, contributing to the growth of this accredited K-12 institution. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Human Resources Manager at Saddle Creek Logistics Services and as a Human Resources Business Partner at Oakwood University. Dr. Nelson's career began as the Director of Human Resources at REACH, a healthcare facility specializing in mental health and substance abuse services. Educationally, Dr. Nelson holds a Doctor of Business Administration with a focus on Social Impact Management from Walden University, an MBA from Purdue Global, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Oakwood University.
