Akash Venkatesan

Akash Venkatesan has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security. Akash is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Cyber Security Council of India. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of Tutelr., a company they started in 2022. Akash also worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at CSIAC (Cyber Security and Information Systems Information Analysis Center) starting from August 2022. Akash has also worked as an SDE at BVR CLOUD and as a Cyber Security Instructor at SANS Institute in 2021. Akash gained valuable experience as an intern at IBM and as a member of the Information Security Forum in the same year. Previously, Akash worked as an intern at the International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA) and as an Event Organizer at TBH events in 2020. Akash briefly served as an Entrepreneur with SRI ARUNACHALA AGENCY during the same year.

Akash Venkatesan's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. Akash began their secondary schooling at Freedom Concept School CBSE from 2006 to 2016, focusing on Mathematics and Computer Science. From 2016 to 2018, Akash attended Paavai Engineering College, where they completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science. Akash then transferred to Hindustan University, where they pursued a BTech in Information Technology from an unknown start and end year. Afterward, Akash enrolled in SANS Technology Institute in 2020 and is expected to complete a Bachelor of Technology degree.

In terms of certifications, Akash has obtained several, including being a Tutelr Certified Cyber Security Instructor from Tutelr in January 2023. Other certifications include being Triplebyte Certified from Triplebyte in July 2022, completing the Python Data Structures course from Coursera in October 2020, and completing various cybersecurity courses from institutions such as MITx on edX and Coursera in 2020.
