Logan MacDonald, GSEC, ITIL

Logan MacDonald has held various roles in the IT field since 1999. Logan began their career as a Soldier in the US Army, performing combat construction and reconnaissance missions. Logan then served as a Squad Leader in the US Army, supervising 10 members of an engineer company and ensuring they were properly trained and ready to deploy to Iraq. In 2009, they became an Operations Sergeant, impacting over 200 personnel and overseeing the administration and training calendar for personnel. Logan also served as an administration assistant to unit leadership. In 2021, MacDonald joined CACI International Inc as a CDM Cyber Security Intern and in 2022, they became a DEFEND A, Program Delivery Operations for the same company. In 2020, they joined Cyber Watch Systems as a Senior Consultant-Cyber Security and Data Privacy and as a Social Media Director. MacDonald holds a GSEC and ITIL certification.

Logan MacDonald holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from Texas A&M University, which they are expected to obtain in 2023. Logan previously attended Blinn College in 2019 and 2020, and was part of the Veterans Success Immersion Program at SANS Technology Institute in 2019 and 2020. Logan also holds an Associate's Degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained in 2016, and an Associate's Degree from Columbia College, which they earned in 2012. In addition, they hold a GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC Certifications, obtained in December 2019, and an ITIL Foundation Level from PeopleCert, obtained in May 2022.
