Armin Rueegg

Armin Rueegg has a long and varied career in the technology and finance industries, beginning in 1985 with BBC Brown, Boveri & Cie. as a Development Engineer for Power Transmission Control SW. In 1986, they moved to UBS as an IT Project Manager Capital Markets, and in 1989 they joined UBS Securities Inc., New York as an IT Project Manager. In 1991, they were promoted to Head of IT UBS North East Asia, and then to Head of IT UBS Hong Kong and Head of Systems Development UBS Hong Kong. In 1998, they became Partner, Chief Technology Officer at Swiss Capital Group, and in 2008 they joined Credit Suisse as Global Head of Batch Operations, Engineering & Infrastructure, Global Head of Central Incident Management, Mainframe, Midrange and Batch Operations, Production Operations Manager Switzerland, and Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, in 2021, they became Chief of Operations at CYBERA.

Armin Rueegg received a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management from ETH Zürich in 1989, followed by an MSc ETH in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich in 1985.
