Chen Bitan

Chen Bitan is the General Manager of CyberArk’s headquarters in Israel. Bitan plays a key role in defining and executing the company’s business strategy and vision. Since joining the company in 1999, Bitan has been instrumental in bringing CyberArk’s products from prototype to market leading enterprise class solutions, with a strong focus on continuous innovation, while ensuring best of breed solutions and highest level of security.

Bitan offers extensive experience in leading software organizations, with deep understanding in the cyber security market. Prior to joining CyberArk, Bitan led the development of billing and customer care systems for telecommunication providers at Amdocs Software Ltd. (NYSE: DOX) and previously, the development of 4GL products for the Asia Pacific market at Magic Software Ltd. (NASDAQ: MGIC).

Bitan served as the head of the programming education department at the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Academy for Computer Studies. He holds a bachelor of science in computer science and political science from Bar-Ilan University.
