Hanno Pingsmann has over 13 years of professional experience. In 2020, they became an Externer Lehrbeauftragter BWL-Versicherung at DHBW Heidenheim. From 2017 to present, they have been the Founder of CyberDirekt, a company that offers digital solutions for brokers to support cyber insurance sales. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Strategic Advisor. From 2012 to 2016, they were the Head of Operations at SumUp. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Senior Associate at Innovalue Management Advisors, where they worked on market entry analysis, transformation of merchant acquiring, restructuring concepts, market entry strategies, and strategy development. From 2007 to 2008, they were an Intern Fixed Income Sales at Deutsche Bank. From 2006 to 2007, they were an Intern Mergers & Acquisitions at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. In 2006, they were an Intern Global Banking at Deutsche Bank. Lastly, from 2005 to 2006, they were an Intern Investor Relations at Deutsche Post AG.

Hanno Pingsmann attended the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Diploma in Banking, Finance, and Controlling. Prior to this, they attended the Heirich-Heine Gymnasium Mettmann, where they obtained their A-Levels.
