Jack Mondry has worked in the engineering field since 2009. Jack began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at LI-COR Biosciences. Jack then became a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2010-2013. In 2011, they also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. From 2013-2018, Jack worked at Minnetronix, Inc. in various roles, including Senior Research and Development Engineer, Research and Development Engineer, and Mechanical Engineer. From 2018-2022, they were a Senior Systems Engineer and Senior Hardware Engineer at Monteris Medical, where they were the lead systems engineer for an MRI-guided, robotically controlled laser ablation device used in neurosurgery for oncology and epilepsy. Currently, Jack is a Principal Systems Engineer at Cyberdontics.
Jack Mondry obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2010, followed by a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2012. Jack also holds a Certified SolidWorks Professional certification from Dassault Systèmes, obtained in 2014, an Engineer in Training certification from NCEES, obtained in 2009, and a Product Manager Nanodegree from Udacity, obtained in 2020.
