Tal Stavi

Tal Stavi serves as the Head of Software Engineering at Cybereason since July 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Rakuten, where Tal held positions as Engineering Division Manager, Engineering Department Manager, and Senior Engineering Manager, focusing on performance, architecture, availability, security, and product lifecycle. Previous to Rakuten, Tal was VP of Engineering at Vulcan Cyber, a continuous vulnerability remediation platform. Additional roles include Senior Software Engineer at The Trade Desk, Lead Software Engineer at EZ Lane, and Senior Coding Mentor at Israel Tech Challenge. Tal began a career in cyber security with a lead researcher position at MAGLAN Cyber Defense & Intelligence and an R&D team leader role in Unit 8200 within the Israeli Intelligence Corps. Tal is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel.
