Advait Nagarkar

Advait Nagarkar is an experienced Applied Machine Learning Engineer, currently working at Cyberhaven since July 2023, specializing in Cybersecurity AI. Prior to this role, Advait served as a Principal Data Scientist at Fidelis Cybersecurity from May 2018 to April 2023, and as a Senior Data Scientist at both Fidelis Cybersecurity and AOL, where the role encompassed applied machine learning tasks. Between March 2015 and June 2017, Advait was a Senior Data Scientist at AOL, and before that, held the position of Data Scientist II at Oath following a corporate merger. Advait’s early career included a significant research role as a Research Associate at The Ohio State University and CERN, leading projects that utilized machine learning and statistical modeling in high-energy physics. Advait holds a Ph.D. in Physics from The Ohio State University, along with a Master's Degree in Physics and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Maryland.
