Wang Chih-Yu

WANG CHIH-YU has a diverse work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Research Intern at 中央研究院, where they developed a Virtual Dressing Room AR device and a building identification system using histogram comparison and SIFT. In 2016, they joined National Central University as a Teaching Assistant and Web Developer, where they managed website content updates and utilized PHP and HTML. They then worked as a Web Developer at 元智大學 from 2014 to 2016. Since 2018, WANG CHIH-YU has been working at CyberLink, starting as an AI Engineer and progressing to the role of Senior AI Engineer. In their role, they developed AI algorithms for face detection, person re-id, eyes gaze estimation, and head pose estimation. They also achieved a top 9 ranking in the NIST face recognition vendor test and deployed AI models on different inference engines and edge devices. WANG CHIH-YU is familiar with various frameworks and tools such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, OpenVino, and NCNN.

WANG CHIH-YU obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from National Central University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Yuan-Ze University from 2012 to 2016.
