Chris Meistre

Chris Meistre has a diverse work experience in the field of offensive security engineering and software development. Chris worked as a Principal Offensive Security Engineer at Cyberlogic starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the owner of CM Computer Services since 1999. Chris also held roles at Halborn, serving as a Lead Offensive Security Engineer from November 2022 to January 2023 and as an Offensive Security Engineer from June 2022 to November 2022. Additionally, they worked at CheckMark Cyber as a Senior Cyber Manager and Penetration Tester from July 2021 to June 2022. Earlier in their career, they served as a Lead Developer at Lunatech (Pty) Ltd and as a Lead Software Developer at ChainEX (Pty) Ltd from February 2018 to December 2020.

Chris Meistre holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Nelson Mandela University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Grade 12 education at Newton Technical High School from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Chris has obtained multiple certifications in various fields such as Appsec Pentesting, Network Pentesting, Red Team Analysis, Red Team Operation, and more. These certifications were obtained from reputable institutions and labs including The SecOps Group, CyberWarFare Labs, Zero-Point Security Ltd, CREST, Hack The Box, FuzzingLabs, PortSwigger, Pentester Academy, and Offensive Security.
