Ethan Decker is an accomplished professional in brand strategy and marketing, currently serving as President of Applied Brand Science since April 2019, where the focus is on providing practical advice rooted in brand science. Simultaneously, Ethan holds the position of Science Fellow at Unwritten Labs, examining the impact of unwritten social rules on behavior. Previous key roles include Group Strategy Director at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where Ethan directed brand and communications strategy for major clients, and Vice President of Insight & Strategy at The Integer Group, leading strategic planning for several high-profile brands. Ethan's diverse experience spans positions such as Insights Director at 72andSunny and Senior Insights Manager at Radar Communications, alongside early leadership roles in publishing and outdoor education. Ethan holds a PhD in Urban Ecology from The University of New Mexico and a BA in Sociology from Oberlin College.
