Saúl Suaña de la Fuente has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and fraud prevention. Saúl began their career at Telepizza as a Store Manager, where they were responsible for managing operations, costs, and marketing. Saúl then worked at Caja Rural de Zamora as a Banker, providing financial advisory services and marketing investment and financing products.

Saúl then transitioned to the payments industry and joined Sermepa S.A.U as an intern, where they certified data for international brands such as VISA and MasterCard. Saúl also audited operational figures for member entities and provided data for public entities such as the Banco de España and the President of the Government.

Following that, Saúl joined ServiRed S.A., the leading card payment scheme in Spain. Here, they worked as a Marketing Analyst, analyzing key indicators and managing data certifications with VISA and MasterCard. Saúl later became the Fraud Prevention Manager, overseeing fraud prevention activities.

Saúl then moved on to the MRC (Merchant Risk Council) as the European Program Manager, where they focused on ecommerce payments and fraud, providing education, training, and advocacy for professionals in the field.

After their role at the MRC, Saúl joined BBVA por Mnemo as a Senior Fraud & Risk Management Consultant, specializing in Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliance. Here, they aligned the BBVA environment with PCI DSS and led the implementation of initiatives in accordance with payments directives and industry standards.

Saúl then joined Necsia Part of Devoteam as a Cybersecurity Project Manager, where they were responsible for the analysis, development, and implementation of cybersecurity solutions. Saúl also worked as a Fraud Project Manager, focusing on the development of anti-fraud functionalities in the banking industry.

Currently, Saúl holds the position of Head of Delivery & Operations (Cybersecurity) at UST España. Saúl is also the Cybersecurity Business Development Manager at CyberProof by UST Global Spain & Latam. In these roles, they are involved in the design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures, strategic business planning, coordination of technology strategies, and development of security services catalog.

Saúl Suaña de la Fuente completed a degree in Economics and Business Sciences from Universidad de Salamanca from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Business Management and Administration with a focus on consultancy and company skills from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, finishing in 2010. In 2012, they attended Universidad Católica de Ávila for a year to study Business Management and Administration.
