Scott M. Schlimmer, CISSP, has a diverse range of work experience in the cybersecurity and intelligence fields. Scott M. is the Founder and Chief Privacy Officer of ZenPrivata, a company focused on providing real privacy solutions. Prior to this, Scott worked as a Co-Founder of CyberSaint Security, a venture-backed cybersecurity SaaS company recognized by Gartner. Scott M. also served as a Cyber Risk Specialist at Trava and as a Senior GRC Consultant at Abacode Cybersecurity & Compliance, conducting various risk assessments and managing a team. Scott is the Founder & Principal of LetoSecurity, offering cybersecurity and risk management services, and has served as an Advisor at SOC Prime, providing strategic advice to the CEO. Additionally, they have a strong background in intelligence, having worked as a Senior Analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency, where they earned the National Intelligence Award and advised the White House on foreign policy. Scott M. also represented the CIA on the Olympics Counterterrorism Task Force and served as a Foreign Policy Advisor at the Office of National Drug Control Policy, contributing to interagency drug strategies. Scott M. Schlimmer, CISSP holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, which was obtained before 2006. Scott M. also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honors degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan between 2000 and 2004. In 2012, they completed the Emerging Leaders Program at CIA University. Additionally, they earned a certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in December 2017. Scott M. Schlimmer also has additional certifications, including Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT from Vanderbilt University in May 2023, an Applied AI Certificate (6 Courses) from IBM, and certifications in CyberAB Registered Practitioner (RP) from The Cyber AB and Qualys Certified Specialist.
