Michael Kopec

Michael Kopec is currently the Controller at CYBERSEARCH, LTD. Prior to this, they were the Assistant Controller at CyberSearch from March 2015 to December 2017. Michael was promoted to this role within the company. Before CyberSearch, they worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at Collins Consulting from October 2008 to March 2015. Michael was promptly advanced to this position within the company and supervised and trained new accounting employees. Michael has a wealth of experience in accounting and has successfully implemented and supervised transitions from Paychex to ADP, oversaw entire month end processes, handled relations with vendors and auditors, managed three sets of books and inter-company balances, and developed, implemented, and maintained company’s accounting procedures. Michael also assisted with a new payroll system with an emphasis on internal controls which led to a 20% time saving in weekly processes.

Michael Kopec has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from DePaul University. Michael also has a certification from Coursera in Corporate Strategy and Financial Accounting: Advanced Topics.

Michael Kopec reports to Craig Sherwood, Managing Partner & President. They work with Christopher Donovan - Vice President, Partner, Bryan Tweed - Director of Recruiting, and Tony Sherwood - Vice President, Partner.
