Charles Mukasa

Charles Mukasa is the founder and CEO of Cyberthentic. Charles has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on security and enterprise architecture.

Charles began their career as a systems engineer with AT&T Bell Labs, where they worked on research and development for security systems. Charles then spent several years as a consultant, during which time they worked with Infoma Corporation and the Bank of Uganda. In 2005, they joined Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey as a Sr. Project Manager and Voice Applications Subject Matter Expert. Charles was promoted to Lead Enterprise Solutions Architect - Service & Clinical Operations in 2011 and held this position until 2019, when they left to start Cyberthentic.

Charles has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a master's degree in computer science from Stanford University. Charles also holds several patents for their work in security systems.

Charles Mukasa received a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Economics from Makerere University. Charles then received a PhD in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
