Dawson Zhang

Dawson Zhang is a seasoned software engineer and consultant with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving at CybEye, Inc. since October 2016, Dawson has held significant engineering positions, including Senior Development Manager at Shanghai Stock Exchange from June 2008 to 2013, where contributions were made to market surveillance and illegal market manipulation detection platforms. Prior to that, Dawson was a Senior Software Engineer at Yahoo! from 2003 to 2008, focusing on search engine functionalities and web content analysis. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at SuperMap, where work involved algorithms for terrain data analysis and virtual reality applications. Dawson holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from New York University (2013-2015) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from Qingdao University of Science and Technology (1997-2001).
