Graeme Linton

Service Desk Engineer (2nd Line) at Cybit

Graeme Linton has a diverse work experience spanning over 22 years. Graeme started their career in 2000 as an Administrative Officer at the Inland Revenue National Insurance Contributions Office. In 2001, they worked as an IT Graduate at British Airways (Computer People).

Graeme then moved on to Hewlett Packard (Twenty4Help Knowledge Services) in 2002, where they held roles in Retail Support and Customer Care. From 2005 to 2016, Graeme worked at British Airways (Ajilon) as an IT Service Centre Analyst and later as a Project and Business Intelligence Support.

In 2016, they joined Greggs as an IT Support Advisor before transitioning to Cybit in 2018. At Cybit, Graeme held various roles including Service Desk Analyst (1st Line), Senior Service Desk Analyst (1st Line), and currently works as a Service Desk Engineer (2nd Line).

Throughout their career, Graeme has gained extensive experience in IT support, service desk operations, and project and business intelligence support. Graeme has demonstrated versatility and adaptability in different environments and is well-equipped to handle varying technical challenges.

Graeme Linton obtained a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Computing from the University of Sunderland, graduating in 1999. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various additional certifications throughout their career. These include the following:

- Sophos Endpoint Engineer from Sophos in December 2022.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in September 2021.

- Microsoft Cloud Fundamentals: SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams from LinkedIn in April 2021.

- Microsoft Cloud Fundamentals: Administering Office 365 and Intune from LinkedIn in March 2021.

- ITIL Foundation Level from PeopleCert in October 2020.

- AWS Technical Professional (Digital) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2019.

- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022.

- Secure Email Gateway - Level 1 Warrior from Mimecast in March 2023.

- RMM Practitioner from Datto in November 2021.

These additional certifications demonstrate Graeme's commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of technology and computing.
