Sara Farag

Sara Farag has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sara began their career as a Sessional Academic and Learning Environments staff at Deakin University from 2009 to 2016. Sara then worked as an Education Technologist at Online Education Services (OES) from 2015 to 2016. Following that, they served as a Unit Coordinator at Swinburne Online from 2016 to 2020. In 2017, they joined Bellevue College as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and later became an Associate Professor in 2020. Concurrently, in 2020, they took on the role of Software Instructor at Cyborg Mobile, where they developed curriculum, taught React, and mentored interns in web app development. Overall, Sara Farag has a strong background in academia and has also gained experience in educational technology and software instruction.

Sara Farag has a diverse education history. Sara completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at Deakin University from 2009 to 2014. In 2014 and 2015, they also obtained a Graduate Certificate of Higher Education Learning and Teaching from the same institution. Additionally, Sara has obtained additional certifications outside of their formal education. In November 2020, they received the AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). More recently, in November 2022, they completed the Teaching with LinkedIn Learning certification offered by LinkedIn.
