Sam Robinson has a diverse work experience. In 2011, they started working as a freelance yacht skipper/mate until 2013. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a lead skipper at Island Sailing Ltd and then as a cruising instructor for freelance work. In 2015, they worked as a skipper at Sunsail.
In 2016, Sam joined Bath & North East Somerset Council as a Business Implementation Support Officer, where they focused on systems thinking, project management, data collection, analysis, and process mapping to improve department efficiency. Sam'semployment there ended in 2017.
Sam then transitioned to the technology industry, starting with CybSafe in 2018 as a Sales Development Representative. Sam later became a Sales Development Representative Team Leader and eventually an Enterprise Sales Development Specialist, both roles held until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as an Account Executive, responsible for intelligent technology solutions that address behavioral challenges and online experiences.
In 2021, Sam became a member of RevGenius, a professional community. Finally, in 2022, they joined CybSafe as a Sales Team Lead, currently working in this position.
Sam Robinson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Bath Spa University, which they attended from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended the United Kingdom Sailing Academy from 2013 to 2014 and obtained an Ocean Graduate degree in Ocean Yachting. In addition to their formal education, Sam has obtained several certifications, including "Creating a Security Awareness Program" from LinkedIn in July 2021, "CybSafe Certification in Security Awareness" from CybSafe in September 2019, "Cruising Instructor Sail" from the Royal Yachting Association in December 2014, "Advanced Engineering Certificate" from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in March 2014, "Yachtmaster Ocean Sail (Commercially Endorsed)" from the Royal Yachting Association in March 2014, "GMDSS General Operator Certificate" from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in February 2014, "Powerboat Level 2" from the Royal Yachting Association in October 2013, and "STCW Basic Training" from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in October 2013.
