John Wagner is a seasoned hotel management professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. As a co-founder of Cycas Hospitality since May 2008, John has been pivotal in developing a company that specializes in extended-stay and double-decker hotels, marrying hotel management skills with real estate investment expertise. Prior to this, John held significant roles at IHG as Vice President for Staybridge Suites and Hotel Indigo in the EMEA region from December 2003 to April 2009, and served as Vice President of Marketing at Manor Care/Choice from 1993 to 1998. Additional leadership experience includes positions as President at Condo Network (1990-1993) and Vice President of Residence Inn at Marriott Hotels (1976-1990). John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Metropolitan State University of Denver between 1970 and 1974.
