Wayne Sticher

Wayne Sticher is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community service and governance. Currently serving as a Consumer Advisor on the Queensland Tissue Bank Governance Committee at Metro South Health since July 2021, Wayne advocates for donor families, recipients, and the community, promoting the bank’s mission of compassionate tissue banking. As a Community Captain for Cycling Without Age since January 2020, Wayne has played a pivotal role in providing free eBike rides to the elderly and individuals with disabilities, fostering community connections and reducing social isolation. Wayne's diverse skill set is complemented by a background in emergency services as a Station Officer with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services for three decades, alongside current roles as an author, professional investor, company director, and keynote speaker. Educational achievements include a Diploma of Governance from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
