Alex Ilgayev

Alex Ilgayev has been working in the security research field since 2012. Alex began their career as a Software Engineer & Security Researcher at IDF - Israel Defence Forces. In 2019, they joined Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. as a Malware Research Team Leader and Security Researcher. In 2022, they moved to Cycode, where they currently serve as the Head of Security Research and Senior Security Researcher.

Alex Ilgayev obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2008 and 2012. In February 2019, they also obtained a Chief Information Security Officer certification from See-Security: Cyber & Information Security College.
