Sam Parmar

Sam Parmar has worked in the cybersecurity sector since 2003. Sam began their career at Diageo as a SAP Security Consultant. Sam then moved to Johnson & Johnson in the same role. In 2003, they joined Accenture as a SAP Security Consultant. In 2004, they joined Deloitte as a Security Consultant (Manager). In 2008, they joined BHP Billiton as a Cybersecurity Strategy Leader. Most recently, in 2021, they joined CYFIRMA as the Head of Strategy & Technology.

Sam Parmar completed a BEng (Honours) in Internet & Computer Systems Engineering from Brunel University London in 2003. Sam then went on to pursue a Cybersecurity degree from Harvard University in the field of Managing Risk in the Information Age. In November 2016, they obtained a Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA.
