Sam Brown

Sam Brown is an experienced forestry professional currently serving as the Senior Forest Operations Officer at Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru / Natural Resources Wales since August 2022. Prior to this role, Sam Brown worked at Tilhill Forestry for nearly a decade, holding positions as Area Manager and Forest Manager, where responsibilities included managing various forestry properties across north and mid Wales. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Forest Manager at UPM, Surveyor at Furlong Forest Surveys during a year of industrial placement while completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry at Bangor University, and working as a Building Labourer at GT Stemp & Sons.
