Venkat Rajaraman

Venkat Rajaraman is the current CEO of Cygni Energy and was previously the CEO of Solarsis India and Su-Kam Power Systems. Venkat has a wide range of experience in the power back-up and renewable energy industries. Venkat has been instrumental in developing new technologies for the power back-up industry, including solar/wind hybrid converters, battery monitoring and control, telecom inverters, grid interactive inverters and smart grid applications. Under their leadership, both Solarsis and Su-Kam have become leading providers of power back-up and renewable energy solutions in India.

Venkat Rajaraman studied electrical engineering at Stanford University, where they earned their MS. Venkat then went on to study business management at XLRI Jamshedpur, where they earned their MBA. Finally, they studied electronics engineering at Madurai Kamaraj University, where they earned their BE.
