Sean McCue

Sean McCue has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Sean is currently working at Cylera as a Principle XIoT Cybersecurity Architect for EMEA. Prior to that, they established their own cybersecurity consulting and solution design firm called SMC Cybersecurity Solutions Ltd in 2020, where they provided guidance and advice to clients, particularly in the areas of operational technology, critical infrastructure, and industrial control systems.

From 2021 to 2022, Sean worked at SCADAfence as a Sr. Solutions Engineer for EMEA, and from 2017 to 2020, they were the Manager of Solution Engineers (Intl.) at Nozomi Networks. Sean also has experience at Lockheed Martin - Industrial Defender Solutions (2013-2016), SecureWorks (2013), Sophos (2011-2013), Vigil Software (2010-2011), Assured Network Security Ltd (2010), and Clearswift Ltd (2006-2010).

Throughout their career, Sean has held various roles such as sales engineer, solutions architect, and manager. Sean has demonstrated expertise in providing technical assistance, validating sales processes, and delivering specialist advice on network and computer security solutions. Sean has a strong focus on improving cybersecurity posture and has worked with clients in different sectors and business sizes.

Sean McCue attended The Vyne Comprehensive from 1981 to 1986, where they focused on secondary education. Following this, they attended BCoT from 1986 to 1989, where they pursued a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and obtained an HND.
