Kenny Cheong

Kenny Cheong is an experienced Advanced Technology Program Manager at Cylite since June 2019, co-leading the development of new measurement modalities for the hyper parallel OCT platform while coordinating a diverse technical team and managing external partnerships. Prior to this role, Kenny served as a Postdoctoral Associate at Stanford University, focusing on adaptive optics ophthalmoscopes, and at the University of Rochester, where research involved optogenetic vision restoration in blind mice. Additional experience includes a Visiting Scholar position at Harvard Medical School, conducting research on plasmid sub-cloning, and extensive postdoctoral work at the University of Sydney, emphasizing electrophysiological recordings in the marmoset monkey's visual thalamus. Kenny holds two PhDs in Neuroscience from the University of Sydney and the University of Melbourne, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Melbourne.
