Germán Hurtado

Germán Hurtado is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales management and marketing across various organizations in the technology sector. Currently serving as Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean at Cymulate since April 2021, Germán leads efforts in offering a SaaS-based cyber-attack simulation platform. Previously, Germán held the position of Regional Sales Manager at FireEye, Inc., achieving notable sales performance and leading sales, marketing, and channel management initiatives. At Proofpoint, Germán was recognized as a top performer and significantly contributed to creating substantial sales pipelines and closing major deals in the region. Prior roles include Director of Marketing at Maintech, Incorporated, and Global Marketing Director at Esperanto Global Marketing, LLC, where Germán developed and managed global marketing programs for various clients. Germán holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Languages from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science in Translation and New Technologies from Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo.
