Susie Jones

Susie Jones has a wealth of experience in the cyber security, risk management and insurance industries. Susie began their career in 2008 as an Account Manager at Willis, providing risk management and insurance solutions for Insolvency Practitioners. In 2010, they moved to Marsh as a Senior Account Executive, where they tailored risk management solutions to Utility and related-services companies. In 2014, they were a State Finalist for the Young Professional Insurance Broker of the Year award from the National Insurance Brokers Association. In 2016, they took a secondment to Decipha as a Senior Commercial & Assurance Manager. In 2017, they won the Risk Revolution Delegate Award from RIMS Australasia for their thought piece entitled "Risk Management in an Agile World". That same year, they co-founded Cynch Security, where they currently serve as the CEO. In 2020, they became a Mentor for Business in Heels. In 2021, they joined the Victoria's Cyber Strategy Mission 2 Expert Advisory Panel and the CYBER Industry Advisory Board at RMIT University.

Susie Jones attended the University of Melbourne from 2000-2005, where they earned a Commerce/Arts degree with a focus in Business Management, HRM, and Political Science. Susie then continued their education at Deakin University from 2005-2007, where they earned a Post-Graduate Diploma of Insurance with a focus in Insurance.
