Michael Ansell

Michael Ansell serves as the Director of Prototyping at Cyngn since October 2021, where responsibilities include designing products that integrate autonomous hardware and driving process improvements. Previously, from March 2017 to October 2021, Michael held the position of Senior Test Engineer at Zoox, focusing on constructing test fixture frameworks using SolidWorks. Michael's experience also includes working as an Integration Technician at Wrightspeed, where collaboration with design teams on product integration was a key function. Earlier roles include special prop design and fabrication for Hillbarn Theatre and freelance lighting and event consulting, showcasing a strong background in design and technical execution across various industries. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts and Animation from The Art Institute of California-San Francisco and an Associate of Arts in Fashion Design from FIDM.
