Jim Zambuto

Jim Zambuto has an extensive work experience in the field of optical, mechanical, and laser engineering. Jim is currently the Director of Optical, Mechanical, and Laser Engineering at Cynosure, LLC. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Manager of Optical and Laser Engineering at Hologic, Inc. from 2016 to 2020. Before that, they were the Principal Laser Engineer at TeraDiode, Inc. from 2014 to 2016. Jim also served as the Principal Optical Engineer at Laser Light Engines from 2008 to 2014, at Lambda Research from 2007 to 2008, and at Axsun Technologies from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Component Engineering at Digital Lightwave from 2000 to 2004, which was a continuation of their previous work at LightChip. Jim started their career at Polaroid Corp as a Principal Engineer, where they worked from 1989 to 1999.

Jim Zambuto obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Northeastern University. Jim then pursued further education and earned a Master of Science in Optical Engineering with a specialization in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona.
