Kelsey Bobrinskoy has a diverse work experience in the field of renewable energy and engineering. Kelsey started their career at the US Army Corps of Engineers ERDC-CERL where they worked as a General Engineer, focusing on renewable energy practices for military installations. During their time there, they conducted feasibility studies for distributed generation and developed energy and water audit processes for Army installations.
After their stint at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Kelsey joined Recurrent Energy as an Analyst, eventually rising to the position of Manager, Asset Management. In these roles, they managed multiple portfolios of utility-scale solar projects, handling all commercial, regulatory, and contractual compliance obligations. Kelsey also owned the profit and loss statements, cost assumptions, and operating budgets for these projects.
Currently, Kelsey works at Cypress Creek Renewables as the Senior Regional Director, Operations & Maintenance. Kelsey also held roles including Senior Director of O&M Account Management, Director of O&M Account Management, and Director of New Accounts - O&M. In their current position, they oversee the operations and maintenance of renewable energy projects and is responsible for the efficiency and performance of the company's assets.
Kelsey Bobrinskoy holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Duke University (2010-2011) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from Elon University (2006-2010). They also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2016.
