Brian McKiernan has over three decades of experience in various leadership roles in the US Army. Brian served as a Vice President for Fires and Operations at Cypress International, where they provided expertise in long-range precision fires, air and missile defense, joint combined operations, and installation services. Prior to this, they served as Deputy Commanding General at XVIII Airborne Corps, Commanding General at United States Army Fires Center of Excellence, Commanding General at First Army, Division East, and Deputy Commanding General at 8th Army, US Army, among others. Throughout their career, Brian oversaw the training and readiness of large personnel and budgetary resources and ensured that they were meeting mission requirements.
Brian McKiernan received a high school diploma from Lawrence Academy in an unspecified year before 1982. Brian then obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Analysis from Vanderbilt University between 1982 and 1986. Continuing their education, Brian earned a Master's Degree in Operations Research and Management Science from George Mason University between 1994 and 1996. Lastly, they obtained another Master's Degree in Strategic Studies in 2007, from The United States Army War College.
