Michael Powell

Michael Powell serves as the Manager at Cypress Resources, Inc., starting in April 2023, where responsibilities include assessing ACC Force Element alignment and effectiveness in the CAFFORGEN model, establishing feedback loops for policy optimization, and conducting gap analyses for Lead Wing resources. Prior to this role, Michael Powell had a distinguished career in the United States Air Force from January 2011 to April 2023, culminating in a position as the Superintendent of the Future Operations Section, overseeing deployment operations for fighter aircraft. Michael Powell also held various roles including Functional Area Manager for Aircraft Maintenance and Flight Chief for F-35 operations, demonstrating extensive expertise in Global Force Management and command readiness reporting. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and two Associate of Science degrees from the Community College of the Air Force.
