Heather Barnes is an experienced financial services representative with a strong background in customer support and administrative roles. Currently employed at Cyprus Federal Credit Union since July 2018, Heather oversees cash and check transactions while managing sensitive account information. Previous experience includes roles with Vivint Smart Home as a customer tech support specialist, Marriott Vacations Worldwide as a pre-arrivals specialist, and Utah State University as a teaching facilitator. Early career positions include a personal assistant at Century 21 Paradise Palm and various customer service roles at Publix Super Markets, Utah Financial, XO Communications, and Ultimate Electronics. Heather is pursuing a degree in Psychology at Weber State University, building on a prior psychology degree from Eastern Florida State College.

Cyprus Credit Union was founded in 1928 by 22 Kennecott Copper Company employees with assets totaling less than $100. Today, we are the longest-serving credit union in Utah and have a diverse membership with financial services available to any Utah resident. We are member-owned and are overseen by a volunteer board of directors. Our organization’s success is dependent upon placing the right people in the appropriate positions at the right time.
