Moriah Hara was named by Cybercrime Magazine in 2019 as one of the top 100 Fascinating Women Fighting Cyber, and has been a 3x CISO at Fortune 500 companies such as Wells Fargo Capital Markets. She has also been recognized as ISE Northeast CISO Executive of the Year. Currently, Moriah is currently providing CISO advisory services to various businesses in the hedge fund, banking, health insurance and startup space on behalf of Vigilance Security.
Over her career, she has overseen multiple headline grabbing public and private incidents that led to significant financial losses. She joined the Cyr3con board because she believes the product addresses a key gap in the current vulnerability prioritization market that could have prevented significant breaches at various organizations.
Moriah is a graduate of Harvard University's Executive Cyber Security Program and thought leader at security forums including Bloomberg Publications, FINRA and various broker dealer’s security investment calls. She also is an advisory board member for YL Ventures and Glilot Capital Partners where she advises on security investments and mentors early stage security startups.
Moriah is committed to bringing more diversity in to the market through sponsorship of the “Year Up” program which helps place minorities and young adults from urban areas into cybersecurity careers. She also is a cybersecurity leader for the Girl Scouts of America where she delivers courses to help young girls earn badges in this domain.
