David Israel Cha, Cham

David Israel, CHA, CHAM has a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. David has served as the Senior Vice President at Hotel Asset Value Enhancement (hotelAVE) since 2009, where they have been instrumental in asset management for institutional ownership. Prior to this, they worked at Denihan Hospitality Group in 2008, conducting research and preparing presentations on hotel development and acquisition deals. In 2007, David worked at PKF Consulting and designed an excel-based interface to assist hotel portfolio owners in tracking their properties. David also gained experience as an Account Management Intern at Deutsch, specifically working with Starwood Hotels.

David Israel, CHA, CHAM, received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Real Estate Finance from Cornell University, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at The Pingry School from 1999 to 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, David has obtained certifications in the hospitality industry, including the Certified Hospitality Asset Manager (CHAM) certification from AHLEI - American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, which they received in October 2020. David is also a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) certified by the American Hotel & Lodging Association. David's accomplishments also include being recognized in Hotel Management's Thirty Under 30 list.
