Rick Geoffrion

Founder, President & CEO at Cyrano Therapeutics

Rick Geoffrion is the current President and CEO at Cyrano Therapeutics. Rick has also held the position of CEO at Accelerated Technologies, Inc. from January 2001 to December 2008. At ATI, Geoffrion created a model of company creation that aligned the interests of physicians, management and investors, effectively matching technologies to targeted unmet clinical needs. Rick also personally led the foundation of five medical device companies: CircuLite, Mitralign, FlowMedica, X-Cell, and Caliber Therapeutics.

Under Geoffrion's leadership, Impella, Pathway, CircuLite and FlowMedica all achieved an exit through M&A. Rick also established a core Cardiovascular KOL group of physicians that conducted 10 full-day meetings per year with a 93% attendance rate over a 7+ year period of time. The KOL physicians, along with ATI management actively supported and mentored ATI founded companies on a daily and weekly basis. Geoffrion has also served as Chairman of Impella, FlowMedica, Mitralign and CircuLite.

Rick Geoffrion's educational career began with him obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Rick then went on to get their MBA in Marketing from the same school.
