Cyrenians
Jan Jeffrey is an experienced professional currently serving as an Executive Officer at the Department for Work and Pensions since February 2023 and as a Family Worker at Cyrenians since September 2022. Prior to these roles, Jan worked as a Skills and Learning Practitioner at Greenleaf House from March 2021 to February 2023 and as a Learning Assistant with Midlothian Council from February 2015 to March 2021. Jan holds a Higher National Diploma in Social Work and a Higher National Certificate in Health and Social Care from The Open University, as well as a National Certificate in Health and Social Care from Edinburgh College. Educational foundation was completed at Peebles High School.

For over 50 years Cyrenians has been tackling the causes and consequences of homelessness. Our values-led, relationship-based approach to delivering our services means we are able to offer person-centred support to those in need of our help. By reacting to both the consequences of homelessness and working to prevent homelessness occurring in the first instance, we are proud of our history of delivering life-changing support to those in our community. Cyrenians is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), charity number SC011502.
