Step Forward
Melinda D. Davis is a versatile professional with extensive experience in both social services and the arts. Currently serving as a Family Service Worker at Step Forward since November 2022, Melinda also operates as a Multimedia Artist and Entrepreneur at Imaginative & Beyond, producing handmade jewelry, clothing, photography, and self-published works. Previous roles include Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center and Peer Recovery Support Specialist at Joseph's Home, focusing on behavioral health and support for homeless individuals. Melinda has also worked in the entertainment industry as an actress and performing artist, notably portraying Evileen, the Wicked Witch of the West, in "The Wiz." Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts with a Music Concentration from Lake Erie College and an Associate degree from Lakeland Community College.
