Pooja Kapadia

Pooja Kapadia has a diverse and extensive work experience. Pooja is currently working as a Principal Associate at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tulsea from August 2019 to May 2023 as the Head of Business and Legal Affairs. Pooja has also held positions at Nishith Desai Associates, where they started as a Trainee in January 2015 and later became an Associate from May 2015 to June 2019. Pooja also gained experience as an Internship Trainee at Nishith Desai Associates in October and November 2014. Pooja had a Trainee position at Chamber of Justice Gautam Patel from January to February 2015. Pooja started their legal career as a Legal Intern at Chamber of Justice S.C. Gupte from August to September 2014. Pooja has also worked as an intern at various legal offices before that, including Krishna & Saurastri Associates from January to July 2014 and Mirchandani and Associates from August 2012 to December 2013. Additionally, they have experience working in the Creative Team at AIESEC Canada from September 2011 to December 2012.

Pooja Kapadia holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Government Law College. Pooja also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University of Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, they obtained an Honors BSc degree from the University of Toronto, specializing in Cell and Molecular Biology and Psychology.
