Jim Roche

Jim Roche has a strong background in the data centre industry. Jim started their career at Bear Stearns as a Managing Director of IT Chicago, where they worked from 1996 to 2007. Jim then joined JP Morgan Chase as VP of Data Center Design and Operations, holding that position from 2008 to 2014. During this time, they also served on the Advisory Board of Data Centre Alliance starting in 2014. In 2012, they became a member of the Board of Directors for 7x24 Exchange, a role they held until 2014. Most recently, they joined CyrusOne as Senior Vice President of Engineering in 2014.

Jim Roche earned an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering from College, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Jim also obtained additional certifications as a Certified Data Centre Design Professional (CDCDP) from CNET and as a Licensed Electrical Contractor from the Chicago Department of Buildings.
