Motil J. is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in leading teams and driving product development in the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Engineering at ThreatDown since July 2023, Motil oversees global engineering teams for Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR). Prior to this role, Motil held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Malwarebytes, managing Cloud Engineering teams across multiple countries and spearheading development for the company's flagship products. With a strong background in big data and business systems, Motil has also served in key roles at GoPro, LinkedIn, and Quest America Inc, contributing to significant technical programs and integrations while managing diverse teams. Motil holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor’s degree from Bharathiar University.
